Product Description
FireWire 400 includes Type 1 (6-position) and Type 2 (4-position) IEEE-1394 cables. They allow for transfer rates up to 400 Mbps and meet the IEEE1394 specification. FireWire 800 includes the newer 9-position Type B Bilingual connectors and is compliant with the faster IEEE-1394b specification. All of our cables are fully shielded and overmolded for durability and to protect from EMI and RFI. FireWire cables allow simple plug and play connections printers, scanners, digital cameras and other popular electronics. They can also be used to link two computers together for file sharing.
